If I ever grow up,

I'm gonna go to the future,

and when I'm there,

my car is able to fly,

to space.

and maybe heaven,

where I'm gonna visit grandma and grandpa,

and maybe,

they're gonna join me sometime,

in the car

my big red car,

which is the fastest in the world,

and the biggest.

If I Ever Grow Up is a children's book project coming to life through the hands of creative visionary Maria Loewenstein and venturous illustrator Donatelle Liens.

The project is inspired by a song written by Austrian composer Klemens Loewenstein.

Donatelle Liens traveled to Los Angeles earlier this year from Lyon, France to complete a creative residency and meet Austrian born artist Maria Loewenstein to collaborate on this passion project. Documenting their artistic journey, sparked multiple ideas for future collaborations and rekindled an old friendship that started years ago.

If I ever grow up redefines gender roles and encourages young girls and boys to dream without limiting themselves to ideas that might have subconsciously been implanted by society.

Austria’s musical star Lisa Antoni, who lend her voice to the German version of Disney's Mary Poppins Returns, also signed onto the project and will sing the original song "If I Ever Grow Up".

The project is expected to be completed 2020.
