The Christmas tree, removed from its natural habitat, is welcomed to our homes early to ring in the festive Christmas season.

Decorated, celebrated and looked at in awe, the Christmas tree, a temporary roommate, is discarded after cookies have been eaten, presents have been opened and love has been shared.

This series is a documentation of Christmas trees awaiting new lives…future unknown.
